Hi beauties, base on my most popular post entry, i decided to do a comparison of this lip tint(Arituam Style Pop Pudding Tint) compared to another lip tint, and so, benefit lip tint came into my mind immediately.
Is it just me? Or the moment when i saw Arituam Style Pop Pudding tint(Which I've done a review here) it remind me of benefit lip tints? Just in terms of packaging and the color range.
I got this Benefit lip tint image from the internet to show you guys how all of the packaging look like, which i assume most of you girls would know :)
and here is an image for the arituam tints
Aren't they pretty similar?
Benefit Posie Tints --> Arituam Polka Pink
Benefit Cha Cha Tint --> Arituam Swing Coral
Benefit BeneTint --> Arituam Tango Red
Benefit Lollitint --> Arituam Lolli Pop
I own 2 benefit tints before i came across with this arituam style pop pudding tint, and the first thing that came into my mind is they look really similar in both the color range and packaging. I wanted to try the Arituam tint so i can know what is their difference.
So here is the images of Bene Tint and Lolli Tint that I have
It may not look obvious enough in the images above, but the brush of benefit lip tints is so soft and flabby, It is not solid enough thus making the liquid benetint to splurge onto shirt if you do not apply it properly.
I do not like the application of these brushes.
Lollitint have a beautiful orchid/ purple candy color. While the benetint red is natural.
Lollitint are a lot more pigmented and long lasting than benetint!
Time to discuss on the Arituam Swing Coral!
Sponge applicator, making application easy. A great thumb up!
The swatches of the 3 tints. As can be seen on the image above, the red benetint consistency is so watery that I've a hard time doing the swatches because the liquid cannot stay in place.
So now, its time to compare them and talk about their pros and cons.
Benefits Tints.
Pros :
- (Lollitint) Long-lasting
- Can act as a blusher as well
- (Benetint) Light rosy scents
- (benetint) Natural color , does not accentuate dry lips or sink into lips line
Cons :
- (Lollitint) Accentuate dry lips.
- Bad applicator
- If you apply them as a blusher, when the moment you dot the tints onto your cheek you have to blend it out immediately.
- Does not worth the price.
- (BeneTint) It fade quickly after eating, making reapplication necessary.
Arituam Tints :
Pros :
- Good pigmentation, does not accentuate dry lips.
- Glossy finish
- Fruity/Orange scents
- Easy applicator
- Vibrate color
- Moisturizing(contain argan oil and rose extract)
Cons :
- The products tend to leak out of the bottle, around the spiral lid, so avoid lying it horizontally.
- Packaging is a little bulky, not travel friendly.
As for Arituam tint, the color fades(not completely gone) after your meal, so make sure to reapply your tints. It still last much longer than benetint, probably the same lasting power as lollitint.
Overall, if you are looking for a lip products that is cheaper, more moisturizing with good applicator, I would definitely recommend the arituam style pop pudding tint as it is more affordable while the quality and performance are impressive!
This is my first time doing products comparison and if there is other products worth comparing I will do it again some other time in the future. :) Thank you for reading, you may leave your comment at the box below if you have any qns :) .
